Digibutter 3.0 is the latest incarnation in the Digibutter evolutionary tree, it's functionality mainly resting on the awesomeness known as Nerrbot (which ceased operating sometime around 2016 or 2017). The new digibutter can be accessed very easily, it is the first result on most browsers for the search: "Digibutter.nerr". Currently the site is not very active, but hopefully this will change in the future. If you are reading this, <s>join up now  </s>ACTUALLY POST SOMETHING FOR ONCE. The picture you see is it's golden days, back when the trees were still around and nerrbot still actually worked and had a profile picture. Nowadays it's much more barren and forgotten. The old users now use diginet underground, a discord channel, instead of the site - digibutter has been abandoned.

Digibutter 3.0 was the last version of Digibutter, as after 2016 the site died and all the users left, leaving only a barren wasteland filled with retarded 12 year olds who can't figure out how to use the reply function. Goodnight, Digibutter, may you rest in peace.

Nerr 3.0 in 2016

Nerr 3.0 was the previous incarnation in the Digibutter evolutionary tree, spanning from 2014 all the way until 4/13/2024. It's functionality mainly rested on the awesomeness known as NerrBot (which ceased operating sometime around 2016 or 2017). The picture shown is of its golden days, back when the trees were still around. The move to Nerr 3.0 was just as, if not more, divisive than the move to Nerr 2.0. Francis personally described the iteration as "a chat-like forum with real-time updates and more mobile-friendly;" however, the version never even ended up having more than one real forum, "All Posts." Because of this, the hiatus on the bitlands game, and the lack of the features that once made digibutter unique, in 2016 the site sank, and most of the remaining users left.

TheEvilShadoo lurked in late 2017 and joined in early 2018. After a while KarToon had the idea to hold a digibutter presidential election in order to drum up some activity. Needless to say, Shadoo ended up winning, and his political opponents cried all the way home. President Shadoo went on to become the most active user of modern digibutter, winning Poster of the Year four times.

2019: A pretty good year for Nerr 3.0, though still a dull year in modern digibutter history.

2020: KarToon left digibutter on the Annerrversary, and Shadoo took over the Digibutter Unofficial Discord (D.U.D.) as president.
