Lord Bowser was banned on August 23, 2007, for flaming another member. The action provoked much debate; pro-ban members believed his actions built up over time and he needed to be punished, and Lord Bowser supporters, surprisingly large in number, believed that his "flaming" wasn't truely terrible, and that the member that was assaulted responded in a much worse way.
