Mmm, bandwith.

Topics were created with pages of "Nom nom nom", that were supposed to be symbolic of posters eating Digibutter's bandwidth. Variations include "Blah blah blah blah blah" (Wacko McGoose) and "Ima eatin ur bandwidths! Bwah ha ha!" (Unknown, but probably Lord Bowser.). The fad could possibly have prompted the Bandwidth Issues incident.
